One guy a friendly dog, and a cat with attitude, sounds familiar yes. but this comic far surpasses its protege in its wit and style. Some times sweet, some times sassy, guarenteed funny. Give yourself a chance to get to know these characters and I know it will fast become a favourite strip.

Satchel is so sweet and Bucky is so sarcastic but deep down has a soft spot if you can just catch him off guard. Anyone who loves their pets (and has both a dog and a cat) can really relate to the relationships they have with each other and Rob.

Get Fuzzy is a witty expression of human nature. Although the majority of characters aren't actually human; the characters are so varied in their emotions that seem like it. While Bucky tends to be the "ignorant little runt" (Bucky Katt's Big Book of Fun); Satchel is more of an innocent soul, who's slighty dim-witted. Rob provides an compassionate, and wise, third point of view. Usually one of Darby Conley's Get Fuzzy comics will start with Bucky or Rob. A disagreement will happen between the two and it ends up with Bucky making a fool of himself. All the while, Satchel is on a tangent of his own and doesn't seem to understand whats happening. Darby Conley's approach to making a comic provides a means to make two jokes in one comic strip. Each strip is double the fun as a result. Conley also has an innate sense of humor that allows him to think outside the box and really point out the humor in every day life. With a combination of brilliant characters and Conley's ability to use them effectively; Get Fuzzy is one of the best comics in years, second best only to "Calvin and Hobbes".

its funny but sometimes I don't understand it. But when I do, it makes me laugh out loud

I like Get Fuzzy because I enjoy all of the things
that go on between Bucky and Sachel, their owner
Rob always seems to be stuck in the middle of their
disputes. In this day and age you have to have a
sense of humor or you'll go crazy. I'd recommend
their humor to anyone who needs a laugh!

My wife fell in love with this strip awhile ago. While I love the artwork, and Bucky is a wonderful little creation, sometimes the jokes fall just short of being "side-splitting" and it hurts it that much more. Many times the strips start out great, and by the last panel have lost their steam. But in the end, with the great artwork, and the critters being quite likable, it comes through as one of the better strips being done today.

"Get Fuzzy" reminds me of when I was single and had a crazy cat and a not always so bright dog. The first time I read "Get Fuzzy" I was hooked and have been a faithfull reader ever since!

Pretty much nails the cat/dog/pet-owner dynamic.

It used to be my favorite. Now it's Calvin and Hobbes.

I do enjoy reading GET FUZZY. However, since I live in Wisconsin, it is sometimes difficult reading this foreign (Canadian) comic.

I love Get Fuzzy. There is nothing better than a Single guy, with a lovable dog, and a cat with a fang. Everyone should read Get Fuzzy at least once, and if you are not throughly in love with it, or not on the ground laughing your rear off then you should probably get a Cat scan. Because it is one of the best!

Bucky is a master of manipulation, persuasion, reframing, presupposition, presumptive salesmanship....... I plan to purchase the book of the comics in order to carefully study Bucky's mastery and the other characters you use to demonstrate Bucky's skills. I don't want to be a Satchel, and the Bucky's are dangerous if their techniques are not understood. Fuzzy starts my day! Thank you Darby for your lessons.
