Hard-hitting political satire... that's actually funny! A real must read.

Don't let the political reputation scare you off. Doonesbury touches on just about everything at one point or another, and a rich history of characters keeps everything flowing.

Doonesbury has become a classic because of Trudeau's insightful yet wry observations of life in the world, and in USA in particular. Excellent writing, great characters, good comic.

I may have to be one of the only people in the world who doesn't like Doonesbury. I don't get what other people see in it; it is very bland. I do admit that is original, but it hasn't any spark.

Edited review on 3/19. Today is the LAST day I
will ever read Doonesbury. If I want to see this
political tripe I'll subscribe to the New York Times.
Doonesbury is NOT a comic strip, it's a political
editorial!
Nope, Sweet89, there's at least 2 of us.
Mallard Filmore is a great antidote.
Actually, Doonesbury belongs on the OpEd page,
NOT the comics page. (Really, tho, belongs in the trash can alongside George Soros, Michael Moore, George Clooney, Whoop-it-up Goldberg, et al)

great!

The only thing funnier than this liberal parody of itself is the editorial page of the New York Times. He may have been a cartoonist many years ago, but he has become just another left-wing nut.

The best part of Doonesbury is the crazy reactions from people who take it just a little too seriously...
AntiEntropy
A great and long-lived syndicated strip. If you don't know Doonesbury by now, better see what all the fuss is about. Love to hate it or hate to love it.

It was great when it first began in the 1970's and has aged like a fine wine. Long may Uncle Duke rock!
